Artifacts Museum

Housed in Building 46 (built in 1855 and a former pipe shop until 1984), the Museum is open to the public on the first and third weekends of the month, and by appointment.

Located at Railroad Avenue and 8th Street on Mare Island, across from Alden Park, there is ample parking, and easy access to the Park, St. Peter's chapel, the Mansions of Officer's Row, and the waterfront along Mare Island strait.

Want to find the Museum? Just look for the 35 foot Patrol Boat with shark's teeth in front!

Hours: 10am to 2pm Weekdays / 1st and 3rd weekends of the month; 10am to 4pm.
